
DEPUTY CHIEF TYLER SUDDUTH
Deputy Chief Tyler Sudduth was born and raised in Villa Rica, Georgia and graduated from Villa Rica High School in 2006. Chief Sudduth and his wife Brandi have two children, Cole and Lily. The Sudduth family is active members of Journey Fellowship Baptist Church.
Chief Sudduth began his firefighter career as a Volunteer Firefighter at Carroll County Fire Rescue Station 9 and soon thereafter would accept the position of a full-time career firefighter. Throughout his fire service career, Chief Sudduth has held multiple positions at Carroll County Fire, Bremen Fire, and Haralson County Fire including Firefighter, Engineer, Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief and Division Chief of Training.
Chief Sudduth holds multiple certifications and qualifications including: NPQ FF1 & FF2, NPQ Fire Officer I, II, III and IV, NPQ Fire and Emergencies Instructor I, II and III, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, Fire & Life Safety Educator, Rescue Technician: Rope Level 1 and 2, Trench Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Structural Collapse, Swift Water Rescue and various additional state of Georgia certifications.
Chief Sudduth is an active member of Georgia Search and Rescue Task Force 6, Georgia Smoke Diver Association, and the Georgia F.L.A.M.E.S. Program.
