Land Use & Zoning Violations (Code Enforcement)
Possible land use/zoning violations include:
- Care of premises
- Junk cars
- Operating a business without a license
Please send an email to Code Enforcement with your name, contact information, address of the land use violation, and the details of the violation. A Codes Officer will log your complaint, conduct an official investigation, and contact you with the results. If you would like to speak to someone in person, you may call 770-830-5861, ext. 2061.
If a violation is found, the codes officer will give the violator a reasonable amount of time to bring the issue into compliance. Failure to do so will result in a citation. Cities have their own zoning and development controls, so if the property is inside a municipality, you will need to contact the city.
