Learn More About SPLOST

SPLOST FLYER

SPLOST (a one-cent sales tax that helps fund important community projects across Carroll County) provides a dedicated source of funding for:

๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ
Paving and infrastructure repairs and equipment
๐ŸŒณ
Parks and recreation upgrades
๐Ÿ—๏ธ
Construction and renovation of county facilities

Because SPLOST is a sales tax, it helps reduce reliance on property taxes.
An estimated 30% of SPLOST revenue comes from visitors who shop or dine in Carroll County, meaning part of the cost of local improvements is shared by non-residents.

Funds from previous SPLOST programs have supported projects such as fire station construction, public safety vehicle upgrades, public works equipment, playgrounds and recreation improvements, road resurfacing, and local infrastructure upgrades. Renewal would continue to support these types of projects throughout the community.
